Kitchentop Catering provides small-batch, handmade, vegetarian food for events under 75 people in the tri-state area. It’s the brainchild of Tori Truscheit, who bakes from her apartment in Brooklyn. She can cater breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus brunch, cocktail parties, tea parties, dessert marathons, and Tuesdays, if you just need some Tuesday baking love.

Tori is a queer femme who has been baking since the late nineties, when she stayed up all night decorating gingerbread people to look like her high school friends. She’s dabbled in professional kitchens but mostly taught herself, and if you eat with her at a restaurant she will probably point to the food on your plate and say, “I could make that!” She believes in eating real food made by real people, without nasty chemicals or a lot of fussiness.
